• Quehenberger founds a new corporation for contract logistics
• 15 logistics locations in Central and Eastern Europe

From now on AUGUSTIN QUEHENBERGER GROUP bundles its expertise and long experience in contract logistics in the new affiliated company Quehenberger Solutions. The corporation develops customer-specific contract logistics solutions. The managing director of the new company is Thomas Kammerlander. This has been announced by Christian Fürstaller, CEO of the company, at the headquarters in Straßwalchen, Austria.

Over the last few years, Quehenberger has successfully realised numerous contract logistics projects and has 15 logistics locations in Austria, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Poland and Russia at its disposal. Tailor-made solutions for the automotive industry, tyre industry, consumer goods manufacturers, retailers and for medium-sized industrial companies are implemented there. "The type and quantity of our contract logistics business make it necessary to bundle the competences in an individual corporation. Quehenberger Solutions develops optimal, individual solutions for our customers in each project and subsequently guarantees the constant optimisation“, explains CEO Christian Fürstaller.

Quehenberger Solutions offers a comprehensive service portfolio along the entire supply chain:

• In procurement logistics customer-specific solutions with pre-assembly, sequencing or production supply.
• In distribution logistics warehousing and transport solutions with industry-specific value added services like labelling, set formation or returns management.
• In logistics outsourcing, among others, the complete employee and asset takeover.

Managing director Thomas Kammerlander has a long international experience as a manager in contract logistics, for example in Germany, Austria, Poland, Romania and Spain. He has worked for the affiliated company AUGUSTIN Network so far and is now responsible for the development and implementation of all contract logistics projects.

Quehenberger Solutions applies a holistic quality management in contract logistics, in which the employees have a broad experience. "We don't only accept predetermined tenders, but also analyse all aspects of the company in order to recognise its optimisation potential and make it usable for the customer", explains Thomas Kammerlander.
