• 80 young people got to know the logistics sector live
• The 4th logistics day was a great success

Over 80 students of the commercial academies in Telfs, Innsbruck and Wörgl visited Quehenberger in Innsbruck on the 4th logistics day in order to gain insight into the world of logistics.

The Quehenberger managers explained in a very descriptive way how to punctually and safely supply the consignee with the consignor's cargo. Some experts delivered an exciting insight into the complex world of a logistics service provider. The interested students were astonished how exciting this professional world can be.

Dr. Marcus Einbock, Project Manager at Quehenberger: "Quehenberger Logistics supports initiatives such as the logistics day, as we enable students of both schools and universities to get a practical insight into the field of activity of logistics service providers. We show that the truck plays a major role in the regional distribution; nevertheless, we strongly rely on a new and environmentally friendly vehicle mix. In addition, we give these young people the possibility to acquire firsthand information about the training opportunities with Quehenberger."

Quehenberger trains 50 school leavers as "freight forwarding agents", "logisticians" and as a professionals of the commercial sector every year.
