On an area of 22,000 m2, Quehenberger Logistics handles all warehousing activities for the five fashion brands of LPP (Reserved, Cropp, House, Mohito and Sinsay). The logistics solution covers all processes from incoming goods, picking, packaging and handover to the parcel service, all the way to returns management.

After Quehenberger Logistics has been working as a retail distribution partner for LPP for many years in eight countries in South- and Eastern Europe, the full-service logistics provider was also selected as strategic partner for the handling of the e-commerce warehouse in Romania.

South-Eastern Europe is one of our strategic markets, especially when it comes to e-commerce sales. The challenge in view of the growing popularity of our brands in this region is to meet the expectations of our customers and provide them with the highest level of service - including fast delivery of orders. We are all the more pleased to have launched a warehouse in Bucharest, which will deliver orders to Romanian customers even the next day.
Jacek Kujawa, Vice President of LPP

The project in Bucharest was completed in record time with a new building on a green field and went live on July 22nd 2019 with the first shipments. Meanwhile, Quehenberger employs 130 people at the new location, in the final phase there will be around 200. LPP aims that online orders received before 6pm are delivered by the parcel service provider the next day.

By the end of 2019, the Polish clothing manufacturer intends to exceed 1 billion zlotys (EUR 227 million) in e-commerce sales. Due to the dynamic growth in the online business, LPP plans to open another fulfillment center in Slovakia in 2020, which will be their fifth and build up in total around 121.000 squaremeters of space dedicated to E-Commerce.

Quehenberger Logistics is operating a number of e-commerce warehouses for customers in Central and Eastern Europe in addition to the warehouse for LPP. The logistics service provider knows what is important for e-commerce solutions and is familiar with the high demands of its customers and also with this fast-moving business and the rapid growth in the markets. Especially in Romania, e-commerce has an enormous share of the sales volume in the fashion industry and the trend is continuing.

"Particularly at sales peaks, such as right before Christmas, on Black Friday or on Woman Day, there is the necessity for close cooperation with the client, perfect planning and flexibility for us as Logistics Partner. We understand the challenges and are experienced in recruiting and dealing with tight delivery times. An intensive collaboration based on trust between all partners is of top priority for us in projects of this kind, "says Hermann Költringer, Managing Director at Quehenberger Logistics.
