First regular groupage line

2 Min. reading time

Quehenberger Russia and Quehenberger Germany have jointly started the first regular groupage line from Russia to Germany on November 23rd, 2020.

After the groupage line to Russia has already been successful, imports are now covered as well.

This is the first regular groupage line in import direction from Russia.

So far there has been no groupage line from Russia. This is due, among other things, to the single-stage exit clearance in Russia, different to Germany, there is no two-stage export (export declaration and subsequent replacement by TIR Carnet or shipping document), but a direct export with the whole vehicle being sealed.

As a customs broker, Quehenberger Russia is able to process the export directly on the departure of the groupage line under the authority of the exporter.

The transport is organized weekly at a fixed price from Moscow and St. Petersburg via the Tychy (PL) hub to Germany.

The runtime to deconsolidation point in Tychy will be four days. From there, the onward carriage to Germany and other European countries takes place.

All goods are cleared and stored at the Quehenberger location in Weiterstadt, and distribution for the EU is organized.
