30 Years of Quehenberger Logistics in North Macedonia
In April 2026, Quehenberger Logistics celebrated a significant milestone:
30 years of successful operations in North Macedonia.
What began in 1996 with a small team, a limited fleet, and initial transport routes to Germany has developed into a remarkable success story. Through key phases as Birkart Globistik and Logwin Logistics, the company evolved into what is today recognised as the market leader in contract logistics in North Macedonia.
With more than 200 employees, over 40,000 m² of logistics space, and several strategically located sites around Skopje and Štip, Quehenberger Logistics Macedonia has become a vital part of the European network. The organisation connects international supply chains, serves multiple industries – including retail, fashion, FMCG, and automotive – and stands for operational excellence at the highest level.
A key milestone in recent years was the integration into the Geis Group in 2023. This partnership further strengthens international connectivity and creates new opportunities for sustainable growth, innovation, and investment.
The anniversary was celebrated at the Hotel Aleksandar Palace in Skopje during a formal gala evening. Under the guiding theme “30 Years. Waltz in 7/8”, the event combined Austrian elegance with Macedonian tradition – symbolising the company’s journey defined by precision, dynamism, and strong partnerships.
In addition to the management speeches, the evening placed particular emphasis on employees as well as long-standing customers and partners. A dedicated awards segment recognised key customers for their long-term collaboration, highlighting the trust and stability that have shaped the company’s success over the past decades.
