After a project phase of two years, we are taking the final steps to implement an integrated logistics concept for Brico Depôt in Romania.

  • One Partner for Warehousing, distribution and value added services
  • 83.000 sqm Warehouse: up to 70 trucks per day in- and outbound
  • customer individual IT solution
  • Extensive expansion of warehouse capacity

The added value: everything from a single source!
We offer a highly flexible and, if necessary, flexibly growing solution at a central location in Romania for our customers. As an established full-service logistics provider, we handle a variety of warehouse logistics solutions in the CTP-Park A1-KM23 in Romania on an area of 130,000 Squaremetres.

An integrated contract logistics project. With flexibly growing resources in one location
The project with Brico Depôt is one of the largest logistics projects for our team in Europe. We control and manage a 70,000 sqm warehouse with 50,000 pallet spaces and 18,000 sqm space for bulk pallets, which is to be expanded to 83,000 sqm fulfillment space by the end of 2020. The warehouse offers the possibility of short and long-term volume expansion.

Success factor: IT solution
We have developed and implemented a complete new warehouse management system (WMS) for our customer in Romania. Individually tailored to the customer characteristics and requirements of Brico Depôt. In collaboration with the parent company Kingfisher and Brico Depôt, an SAP interface was implemented that provides the management of Brico Depôt complete transparency about the logistics processes and services, with customized KPI reports.

In addition, we have created a tailored web-based platform for Brico Depôt customers and suppliers.

After more than 2 years of successful partnership between Quehenberger Romania and Brico Depôt Romania we are pleased that together with our customer we have managed to bring our collaboration to the next level. One roof project will bring mutual benefits to both companies through synergies created by not having double stock and multiple locations.
